2nd Annual Day After Thanksgiving Spirial Jetty Trip

The Spiral Jetty is an interesting formation that some dude with too much money and too much time built on the North East side of The Great Salt Lake. It is about 11 miles down a dirt road from the Promontory Point visitors center which is about 30 miles West of Brigham City. It is about a 2 hour drive from our home and there is almost never a crowd.
Don't forget to the pics form last year, I posted them in August. What a difference a year makes!!! Last year it was almost completely under water.

34 degrees and a 30-40 mph wind coming off the Lake. These two didn't need their coats...

Eating Lunch behind a Big Rock. It was the only place out of the wind we could find.

Last year the center of the Spiral was almost completely under water. This year there is no water within 25 yards of the whole formation.

Another Cold (68 degrees) November Saturday at the Football Game...
I did win $100.00 and got on the Jumbo-Tron, not for the hair, but because I had the correct credit card.
Grandpa, still wearing BYU blue "because it has a pockett"... If you need Christmas Ideas he needs a RED t-shirt with a pocket!!!

I like Taylor's Shadow on my chest.

The Deck is comming along

The framing is almost done, but now that it is getting darker and colder earlier it is not as easy to see the progress. If it wasn't for Grandpa and his tools this would never have happened!

Halloween / The Deck

It was sooooo great having Halloween before the Daylight Savings Time change. I was actually able to get home, relax and have dinner before all the crazyness started. We started roaming the neighborhoods around 6:00 and were finally back home by 9:15. The only unhappy customer was Trey who at 14 is too old to Trick-or-Treat. I guess his friends parents didn't agree and he "... was the only kid in the whole neighborhood who didn't get to go". WAAAAA

This is what I do after work...

I can't wait to see how many nails the lawn mower picks up and throws through the windows...

More Pics to come as we progress with this project...
