Oct Recap

It is hard to get the hang of summarizing the Months events. Most of our big events we have reported on this month.

We have filled in our hole from our water repair problem. Lee spent the first weekend of October at the cabin at Bear Lake helping out his dad. That left me home with the kids for the Weekend. I spent most of Saturday mopping up water from a rain storm. I was taking care of my folk’s house while they were on a cruise in Europe. They too had water problems.

The kids (Tiffany and Taylor) finished up fall soccer season. They both seem to have fun playing. Trey had his first band concert that had to be rescheduled because his band teacher, Mr. Houtz's mother passed away. ( Mr Houtz taught at Mueller Park Junior High when I was in Junior High.)

We all have had a hard time with the fact that Jake is no longer with us. He was a great joy to all of our family. Taylor when he prays wants Heavenly Father to know that there is a new dog in Heaven and to take good care of him.

The second weekend we went to the cabin with Grandpa Lee to help him with some work on the trees at the cabin. We all worked out in the snow and rain Saturday and then relaxed.

The third weekend the Kids and Lee went with Grandpa Lee to Smith Morehouse for their four wheeling trip. The fourth weekend we just stayed at home and worked on home projects.

During the week Grandpa comes 2-3 times to work on the deck after work. We will be getting the Trex on the frames of the deck this next week. Watch for new pictures to come soon.

We look forward to having Thanksgiving at our House this year. Hope you and yours have a Happy and Healthy Holladay Season. Hope to talk to you all soon.

4 Wheeler Trip at Smith & Morehouse

Sorry it has taken so long, Yes Jen I have been busy...

Last Saturday was the last weekend of the Deer Hunt and Grandpa was itching to get back to our old Hunting Grounds. So we loaded up the kids and the 4 wheelers and took off for the mountains. It was a great ride: Dad and Grandpa got to reminisce, the kids got to hear stories about when Dad was little and Grandpa was "not so old". Oh ya, everybody got to wear Orange...

Lets Go

Jake The Dog 7/1995 - 10/15/2007

We said good by to Jake last night. Jake has been a beloved member of our family for the last 12 years. None of the kids can remember a time when Jake wasn't eagerly waiting in the back yard for someone to play with. Jake loved to explore and was a great trail dog, but he never liked to play fetch. He did love to wrestle and chase the kids through the yard.

He will always be missed...
